Doris and Albie are a delightful mother and son duo looking for a new family after a change in their owner’s circumstances. Unfortunately, their owner is no longer able to provide the time and attention these two wonderful dogs deserve.
Both Albie and Doris are sweet, affectionate dogs who will bring joy to a loving home.

- Brown dapple, Smooth
- Not neutered
Albie
- 1 year 4 months
- Male miniature dachshund crossed Pomeranian
- Red, smooth coat
- Not neutered
Doris is described as “very loving and sweet” by her current owner. She has a gentle nature and enjoys spending time with her family. Doris is great around children and enjoys giving affection in her own way.
Albie is equally affectionate, with a love for cuddles and a few playful licks to show his affection. He is a friendly and loyal companion who will quickly form a bond with his new family. Like Doris, Albie is great with children and is eager to be loved.
Doris can be reactive to dogs on walks, sometimes lunging at other dogs. Additionally, both Doris and Albie are sensitive to noise, strangers, cars, and other dogs, which can lead to barking. These behaviours will require further training and support, which we can provide through our behaviourists.
Both Doris and Albie are housetrained and can be left for up to 4 hours without issue. They are familiar with basic commands, including sit, paw, stay, and down, making them intelligent and eager to learn companions.
Both dogs are great with children, making them excellent family pets. However, they are not used to being around cats, so we are unsure how they would react to a home with one.
Requirements in a home:
- No other dogs
- Not cat tested
- Good with children
