Gunner is a smart, friendly dog who loves nothing more than a cuddle with his human.  He is looking for a new home with someone who can give him the time and attention he needs.  His family recently rehomed him privately and have realised that he will be happier in a home where his owner had more time to spend helping him adjust and settle.

Gunner is a sensitive boy who will benefit from a regular routine and a quiet home where there are clear boundaries.  He is currently unable to be left alone without barking, whining and he is very unsettled,  so his new family will need to be prepared to work with him so he can learn that time apart is OK.  He has also nipped twice and will occasionally growl if he has a particularly tasty sock – this is likely a result of the disruption he has experienced and we will provide behaviourist support if needed, to help ensure he can move successfully into his next, forever, home.

Outside the home, Gunner walks on lead and is keen to get out and enjoy walks.  He has not spent much time with other dogs but is happy to meet dogs outside the home, and is always happy to meet new people.

Gunner is looking for a calm environment with a family that is home most of the time.  He is an intelligent boy who is looking for someone who can provide the stimulation and training that he needs to live his best life.

Gunner is in excellent health.  He is house-trained and travels well in the car. He currently sleeps in the bed with his owner.  This boy has loads of love and cuddles to give to his forever family.
