Linc is an affectionate and friendly boy who loves attention and lots of cuddles. He likes to play with his toys, sit on the sofa and look at dogs outside in the park.  Sadly his owners are unable to give him the ongoing care and attention he needs.

Linc is an IVDD warrior who has had surgery and two subsequent episodes of IVDD.  The most recent one was this year and was treated successfully with crate rest and medication.  He is now mobile and enjoying his independence again, although he still walks with a bit of a wobble at the moment.  His new family will need to avoid stairs and he also is more secure on his feet if flooring is textured and not slippy.  The Red Foundation will pay for medical costs associated with his IVDD and we will discuss this with potential adopters.

Although loving and playful with his people, Linc is also an anxious boy and is currently rarely left on his own.   If he is left, he tends to bark constantly and have accidents, so we are looking for a family where someone is around most of the time and there is a commitment to helping him learn that being left is OK – we will provide behaviourist support if required.

Linc could potentially live with a calm, friendly dog following a successful introduction.  He also gets along well with sensible children.  He sleeps in his crate in the bedroom and is house-trained.

Linc is a good-tempered, loving dog who will thrive in a quiet home with people who have the time and commitment to helping him.
