Mocha and Daisy are two beautiful sisters from the same litter who have been inseparable since they were 8 weeks old. Now just two years old, they share a strong bond and must be rehomed together.
Their family loves them dearly, but due to ongoing health issues, they can no longer give the girls the exercise, training, and consistency they need. This difficult decision has been made with Mocha and Daisy’s best interests at heart, and they are now looking for a home where they can truly thrive together.

Mocha and Daisy are a delightful pair of sisters with gentle hearts and lots of love to give. Mocha has a kind, easy-going nature but is also full of energy. She loves to run, play with her best friend Daisy, and enjoys nothing more than a long walk together, followed by belly rubs and a cosy snooze on the sofa or tucked up beside the radiator.
Daisy is a sweet, affectionate girl who would happily spend her whole day curled up on someone’s lap, although she’s just as happy heading out for a walk alongside her sister. She is incredibly people-oriented and once she trusts you, she’s your friend for life. The girls have lived in an all-female household, so Daisy in particular can be nervous around men, which she expresses through barking. With calm, quiet introductions and time to build trust, she responds well and settles nicely.
Daisy is very food-driven and known to be a little cheeky when it comes to snacks, for this reason, the girls are fed separately to prevent any bullying behaviours around mealtimes.
The girls haven’t previously lived with children, so we are looking for a child-free home. They are not suitable to live with cats. Both dogs are playful, energetic, and would thrive in an active, outdoorsy home. Mocha in particular shows potential for activities such as scent work, which could be a great outlet for her energy and intelligence.
Mocha and Daisy are rarely left alone, but when they are, they may bark initially before settling. They are both crate trained, although they have never travelled in a car or on public transport, so their new family will need to offer reassurance and gentle exposure to help build confidence.
Due to their owner’s mobility issues, Mocha and Daisy haven’t had regular walks recently, so they will benefit from some basic training around lead manners and recall. They will also need a consistent routine to help with toilet training and gradual, positive socialisation with dogs outside of the home.
These loving, loyal girls have so much potential and will truly blossom in a stable, understanding home where they can receive the guidance, training, and affection they’ve been missing. With the right family, Mocha and Daisy will make wonderful, devoted companions.
Requirements in a home:
- A calm and loving home with patience to give the dogs time to settle
- No children
- No cats
- Possibly another calm dog, following successful meetings
- Someone willing to work closely with The Red Foundation and possibly our behaviour team to support their training, improve their confidence, and help them learn positive routines.
If you can offer these sisters the fresh start they deserve, we would love to hear from you.
