Ruby is a sweet and affectionate miniature smooth black and tan girl, just 5 years and 7 months young, currently in London. This little lady is described as a “lovely and loving little girl” who forms a deep bond with her people, following them everywhere and soaking up cuddles. While she may be a little shy when first meeting new people, particularly men, she quickly warms up to become your very best friend. She has a zest for life, loving long walks and even a quiet visit to the pub!
Ruby is a clever girl, she’s crate trained, knows the basic commands and has excellent recall. However, she does need a little guidance; she can bark at other dogs when on a lead (a behaviour easily managed with a tasty treat!) and can have an occasional house accident. She can also bark when left alone, though her owners note this doesn’t happen when she stays at a friend’s house, suggesting this is manageable.
Ruby is being surrendered because her devoted owners feel they can no longer give her the time and attention she truly deserves. We are committed to finding her the perfect, committed home where she can thrive.
Requirements in a home:
- Someone home most of the time to keep her company.
- She needs to be the only dog in the household.
- Older, dog-savvy children aged 12 and above.
- She has not been cat-tested, so a cat-free home is best.
If you are ready to open your heart and home to this deserving girl, please complete the application form on our website and email your interest to karen@theredfoundation.org.uk.
