Pablo is a handsome boy looking for a forever home with a family who can provide him with a calm and quiet home. He is being surrendered due to a new baby in the home and his owners feel he would be better suited to a calmer home. He is a smart and loving dog who likes having tummy tickles and long walks. He is an affectionate little dog who will be an amazing pet. He is currently living with two other medium-sized dogs and likes the female, so could potentially live with a calm female dog.
Pablo enjoys his walks but is generally nervous outside the home and can bark at strange dogs and some people. If required, we will provide behaviourist support so he can learn the outside world is a place for fun, walks and sniffing.
At home, he loves his people but is less sure about visitors, although he will quickly come round if visitors respect his boundaries and wait for him to settle. Pablo doesn’t like unexpected loud noises and will bark if scared by them. He is happy to be left in the home and, once settled, he can be left for up to four hours. Pablo is in good health – he was operated on for bladder stones two years ago and has recovered well. He does not like cats or young children.
