Sebby is a sweet-natured and friendly dachshund looking for a new home
because of changes within the family that mean they can no longer give him
the time and attention he deserves.

Sebby is an affectionate boy who loves his people and is happy chilling on the
sofa, lying in the sun and going on interesting walks. He is nervous of new
people but will settle down quickly if ignored and allowed to approach in his
own time.

Until recently, Sebby lived with two other male dachshunds and
found this stressful as he was bullied by one of them. This resulted in anxious
behaviours such as barking, destroying bedding and peeing and pooing inside.

Since the other two dogs have been rehomed, these behaviours have stopped
which shows how important a safe and stable environment is for him – he is a
sensitive soul!

Outside the home, Sebby loves his walks and enjoys sniffing around in the
undergrowth like a typical dachshund. He can be barky towards dogs he
doesn’t know but settles quickly and can make other doggy friends if
introductions are slow and gentle.

Sebby is in good health. At night he sleeps downstairs in his own bed happily.
He is a sweet dog who will be a wonderful companion in a family who can
give him the quiet, calm environment he needs.
