Jeffrey and Shadow are a tightly bonded, fun-loving duo who are looking for a new home through no fault of their own. This affectionate pair have grown up together and would thrive in a lively, loving home where they can continue their adventures side by side. They are being rehomed due to a severe allergy in the family’s baby, which has unfortunately led to frequent hospital visits. Their current family are heartbroken but know that the right home is out there.

Jeffrey is a cuddly, affectionate boy who loves a warm lap or a sunny spot to snooze in. He’s crate trained and often puts himself to bed during the day. At night, he and Shadow sleep peacefully together in the same crate. He’s fully house-trained but may have the occasional accident if left for longer than 4 hours. Jeffrey gets the zoomies in the garden and enjoys playing with the three children in the home, ranging from under 1 to 13 years old. He’s thriving in a busy household and loves being part of the family chaos.
Jeffrey knows basic commands and responds particularly well to a male voice. He can be territorial over toys around Shadow, growling if Shadow tries to take one, though he has no issue with his humans taking toys from him. He walks well on a lead but may bark at larger dogs. He’s not keen on car journeys but with patience and training, this could improve.
Shadow is the more timid of the two, often taking his lead from Jeffrey. He’s affectionate and loves curling up with Jeffrey to nap. Like his brother, he’s crate trained and comfortable being left for short periods of time. He is more vocal when his humans return home, but neither dog howls or barks excessively when left.
Shadow is calm in the car on his own . At the vet, he’s a bit shy but manageable. Shadow enjoys his food and treats and has previously been fed a raw diet. He also loves to play and still has a bit of puppy-style mouthiness.
