Spesh’s Legacy is an ongoing remembrance fundraiser in memory of a very special and beloved little dog, to help our lifetime care medical dogs who may not otherwise have a chance at a happy life.
Spesh was the poster boy for living life to the full despite disabilities & limitations and his journey navigating his way through life with his mum Sharon by his side captured the hearts of many of our followers. Due to our amazing supporters who donated we were able to fund Spesh’s medical care and alternative therapies which helped him live a happy and fulfilled life
We were all devastated when he passed away suddenly at the age of 2 and as a fitting tribute to a truly special dachshund, Spesh’s legacy was created.
To help support our increasing numbers of Lifetime Care Medical Dogs we have introduced a sponsorship programme. All money raised from the sponsorship programme will go towards the medical costs for our dogs that need ongoing support & treatment.
At the time of launching the programme we had 235 lifetime care dogs – this number only increases every month.
In 2022 we spent £195,000 on medical bills – £121,000 of this was for our lifetime care dogs.
3 levels of Sponsorship:
- Bronze -£5 per month or £60 yearly.
- Silver – £10 per month or £120 yearly.
- Gold – £20 per month or £240 yearly.
